Post by: perry113 on March 06, 2010, 02:58:56
Here's another mystery part to project 111. The part encrypted this gizmo reads A 000 541 00 63

Does this ring any bells??

Never seen it Peter, it may be something to do with emission control from the 3.5!

I don't have a clue either, but will pass along to a good friend of mine with a 111 and see if it rings any bells with him.

If you have access to the EPC, you can search with that number and it will show the applications. I don't have access to EPC right now, but can look that number up tonight.

I looked on the MB EPC system and used the search function. It could not come up with a match for the number. The number might have been changed to another. I would contact the Classic Center and see if they can match it.

Thanks for looking.
I will run it by the classic center.

It's part of the Flux Capacitor from a DeLorean. 8)

Oh, it's not original then.  The Flux Capacitor was an aftermarket installation on DeLoreans, long after series production ceased in the early 1980's!  (I sold DeLoreans when they were new.)
