Title: Ipod cable installation w/out head unit removal?

Is it possible to connect the Becker Ipod cable without removing the radio? (ie, to reach behind dash and push in plug or is it enclosed?

My Becker Europa TR has very low sound and the volume knob seems loose or has play in it.

Can a loose volume knob lead to low sound.

Will the Ipod volume control override manual volume control?

I do have an amp; but remember having to push in/seat the connector/power plugs as they came loose before.

You still need to get the glove box out and reach behind the radio.
