In this months Mercedes-Classic there is a "do you know" question. There is a picture of a 108 sedan with European lights and A bar running down the light. A fog machine is shooting a stream of stem or fog across the front of the car.

the article said around 1970 Daimler Benz was testing this new  feature which was available for the R107 350SL /SLc and W116 chassis
S- class 1972 and w123 to 1976?

any clues to what option 60/0 is ?

Option 600 durng Pagoda production was Chrome Strips on the hardtop.

Option 600 in the later 1970's was Wiper Blades for headlights. They might have been testing new wipers with a fog machine.
