do we know if anyone has plans to re manufacture the roof rack for our cars?

I will try and do a copy of the one I have for my 1971 sunroof hardtop car before it sells; I would be willing to take orders for them to make it worth while. I only need the clamps for the rails but those are available off of the 107 ski racks. I also need to manufacture the plastic pad on each clamp as most are broken or missing.

If there will be photos of a prototype along with the total cost to put in an order for a accurate/faithful reproduction then I'm interested. I ski so I might as well have a rack that looks right.

Here is a photo of my original rack, I think $2500 would cover the costs (plus shipping)I will include the clamps and the straps. Quality will not be a problem as we employ some of the worlds best craftsmen; we are currently building a 1955 Gullwing completely from scratch using original components. It will be exact in every detail. see our website www.ranchomerced.com Mark Passarelli

I'll take 3 of them! Just kidding. So how do you plan to source the retaining clamps on either end? You mentioned that the 107 ski rack has the same piece (and I believe you're correct) but even those are rare.

I think I have about 8 racks in stock
