Title: WSJ insurance article
Post by: glennard on July 30, 2008, 07:57:54
Today's Journal has an article on antique car insurance.  10.9 mil for James Coburn's car.  Values are going up.  When will a Pagoda cross the seven figure mark?

This one. Story was that he was only there to buy some posters.
And no, while the BBC pays him well, they don't pay him that much

It's a very beautiful car but 10.9 million USD is really astounding, obviously the celebrity connection helped push that price up significantly...I guess?

Well hopefully one way or another that will benefit all classics and milestone cars like ours.

Funny, I just commented about the Spyder in another thread.

Even without the Coburn connection, a few have touched the $5M mark in auctions.
