Very handsome example. I like how one of your photos shows the triple-plated chromed side air vents up close. It is a beautiful, old-world detail that would be made from plastic on any newer car. (In fact, the 107 SL uses plastic there if I'm not mistaken.) That's the thing about these cars. They have so many gorgeous details that you can accidently overlook if you don't focus.

My brother was being introduced to my car over the weekend and fell in love with the "hip"
Just below the side window of the hardtop, on the body, is a hip where the car flares out a little. His comment was "beautiful, they just wouldn't do that today, it'd either be flat or be big enough to be a "feature", this just fits perfectly"

Hmmm,
Perhaps I am just too stupid for this.
Could view the pics recently, can view them now. What's wrong with them?
Interior is Cognac 8006, interior code 250. Beautiful !! :)

I reposted them :D so don't beat yourself up
Thanks for the colour scheme info. - still awaiting my data card. Not sure that the carpets were originally blue - I'm sure it's not an MB carpet!

Tosh , I love the color combo and the shade of the wood I'd like to do my wood like that . Is it restored ? I'm going to do mine my self .

It is restored. I didn't do it though.
Which is a pity as the trim insode the rear window of the hard top has not been done and needs some TLC
So I have a chice. DIY and hope for the best. Or take that wood to the people who did the rest of the inside of the car. Either way, it's a hope for a match!
