what procedures should be followed when storing my pagoda for the winter months and when storing is it good to start the engine periodically & let it reach operating temparature 8)

Loizou, in addition to all the good links Waqas provided, I'd add that starting & warming up the car is probably a good idea -- but driving it is even better. If you can, I'd recommend getting the car out for a spin whenever the winter weather gives you a break. I would think that in London, you could sneak out at least a couple times? These cars like to be exercised regularly...

Weather in a New York Winter is typically about 32F to 40F (0C to 5C)
Some days it gets down to 20F or colder but not for long.
At least once a month, I take the car out for a "Winter Warm Up"...maybe for an hour including 30 minutes of hard driving to get the juices flowing and make sure the battery is happy.
I have never followed any Winter storage procedures except to make sure the anti-freeze, oil, and other routine items are OK.
Even in a Winter cold snap, it's a comfortable ride with the soft top up and the heater on. I try not to take the car out after a snow if the streets have been salted until a good rain has cleaned things up.
