Need to hook up glove box lights I have 2 leads that come from glove box door that end it round connectors. What do these attach to?
Thanks, Bob

Bob,
not sure whether I understand your question. The wires for the glove box light should be on the glove box, or were those disconnected too? There is a depression in the back of the door to let the wire go out. That wire connects - I believe - to the terminals on the clock.

On my 230SL there is another pair of red/white & brown wires that connect to the air distributor box to power the blower motor inside. perhaps the pic will help.

I have the ones that go out of the glove box door where do they connect....the clock has a 3 prong push in type connector.

To the junction box shown on Alfreds left picture. The wires from the door pass thru the small gap in the floor pad of the glove box and out the back of the box. The chrome trim hinge under the pad has a little tunnel for the wires to pass thru.
Note: brown wires always -ve (ground) on these cars.
The airbox motor has a connector plug similar to the one on the clock.

So then his picture on left which looks exactly like what I have now, I need to take my 2 leads that come out from the glove compartment and hook them on to each of those terminals on top of the wires that are already there?
So I will have 2 sets of wires attached to each of the screws on that relay.

Bob,
Naj is correct. I have checked my wiring and the clock wire goes to the terminals on the distributor box.

I have also been working in this area and having replaced a burnt out light bulb, it now stays on even with the door shut 8) . What would cause this to happen? Any Ideas?
