Title: different looking seats???

I just realized - when I asked to chnage the color of the interiors to red in my car - that the driver's seat has a different back which engulfs you whereas the passenger seat's back is flatter.

Is that the case with this model and year?

Do you have pictures? The seats for any of the 113's should match, or more precisely be mirror images of each other (the seat release levers, and seat adjustment wheels)

I believe the seat design was changed after the 230SL to a more "enveloping" seat with breathing holes in the covering material.

It may be that a car has one seat of the early style and one of the later style.

Thanks guys.  You may have solved the puzzle.  I have asked the guy to make them similar.  Will post pictures when done.

I believe that would require new "insides" for the seats.  I don't know if the frames or springs are different, but the thick pads are for sure.
