The June Pagoda Notes issue is in the mail to North American full members. This issue contains Joe Alexander's excellent tour of engine starting issues, components and solutions. A must read.
If you are not a fully paid member, you are missing an excellent benefit of membership.

Thanks Jim and John,
I got mine today. I think the charts should make understanding and diagnostics a lot easier for the rest of the group!
-
Mine appeared in the mailbox two nights ago. I've been sitting out in the garage for an hour or so each evening (much to the chagrin of she-who-must-be-obeyed!) with the hood open looking at the components on my car while re-reading Joe's article. I think I now have a better understanding of what makes my SL tick!

Joe,
You're THE human encyclopedia on Mercedes'. You can single handedly write the entire W113 technical manual.
Cheers,
Michael

when I made my move from West Los Angeles to Long Beach. alot of my importantPagoda group information got misplaced. I would greatly appreciate if we have back issue copies of the news letter I can purchase from number 1 to present.
I am building a library for this particular Mercedes-Benz model and any thing I can get my hands on I will be glad to share down the road with new members. Think of me as the club library!!

Bob, the current issue is indeed labeled Volume 2, Issue 2, June 2008 and is noted as "the seventh Pagoda Group Newsletter".

Bob,
Send me your address off line, and I will send you copies of the issues of Notes. They will not be in the pamphlet format, just printed copies.

Has anybody on the right side of the pond got their June copy yet?
not me :?

Naj:
By "right" side of the pond, you mean the East side not the "correct" side...yes, no?
Richard M, NYC on the Left side of the pond

I think he really means "correct" (as in, "no please don't do that", "no really, we've been there done that", "ok how many men do you need?", and the gem "I told you it was a bad idea!").
-
I have been waiting for my copy.
Of course, Australia is so far away and snail mail does take six weeks or so.
BTW what side of what pond am I on?

Hello Non-North-American members - I am the person who mails out Pagoda Notes to you all. I've been out of my country a lot over the past month and a half, but back on base now; I will produce + mail it out this week (honest!)
