I had the misfourtune of seeing a horrendously modified W113 in Beverly Hills on little Santa Monica.
A red W113 with a black top,4% limo tint, blacked out tail lights, & what appeared to be 17" chrome aftermarket wheels found on the cover of this month's Dub magazine.

Perhaps, a victim of "Pimp my Ride" - ;)

Don't be so sensitive! Two years ago, we had a car show at Alki Beach. The "best foreign car award" was given to a red 190SL with a Lexus V-8 engine, a Nissan manual gearbox and matching rear end. My 280SL got nothing. It is all original and in wonderful condition - I have been told, it looks like a new car. And another car, I see from time to time, has little plastic figures, like animals, glued on to the outside of the body. It is completely covered. Now please: Use a paper bag when you puke & dispose of it safely. How about that Hummer Limo, stretched?

Engineer, hardtops are cheap. This year enter with a replica of Luna Park glued to your top.
For non locals Luna Park was an amusement park that used to exist in Alki kinda like the boardwalk in Atlantic City.
I saw a recreation of Custers last stand yesterday driving down the freeway. Someone had glued a ton of the plastic indians circled around just a few army men on their Subaru's roof.
