Title: Just getting started

I drove this 230sl for 25 years in California and Wisconsin.  I did little to it for the 25 years as I wanted to drive it, not sell it.  Now that the kids are gone it was time to clean it up.
I drive it almost every day through the summer.  To the grocery, to the friends, and to the lake.  I intend on working on the engine a little this summer.

I stripped and painted it original colors.  New Seats (leather) door panels, carpet (loop) Original Becker radio, sun visors, dash upolstery,top etc.

I just love the color.

Welcome to the Group !!
Beautiful car, stunning color combo.
I lived in Madison, WI from 2001-2002, never saw your car there  :(

It's always extremely exciting to have such a long-term Pagoda owner like you among us.
BTW, what's your car's color, is it 268 ("dunkelgruen") or ...?
