Hopefully I will get to a point where I can be answering more questions for someone new then I am now asking everybody else but for now I have a question....
When I bought my car it had a ugly looking modern radio in it that I want to get rid of. I was able to find a Becker Mexico Stereo with Cassette which I am hoping to install.
It just arrived minus the Becker installation instructions that were supposed to come with it, until I find some, and not wanting to damage it when connecting it I'd like to ask for some info on what wire is what and who connects where.
In the attached photo is:
1. power ?
2. ??
3. ???
4. Ground ?
5. Antenna ?
6. ??????
7. Speakers ?

As always, the Technical Manual is your friend. There's an original Becker Installation Manual (http://www.sl113.org/wiki/pmwiki.php?n=Electrical.RadioAndAntenna) in German here.
Although it doesn't describe that separate box you have...

Yes I saw that German language document but I can't speak/understand German and didn't want to risk mixing up the wires and doing damage to the radio and or the car's electrical system because it was unclear and also did not cover the other box which I'm guessing is an amplifier or power supply of some sort. If I can find a proper manual for it in english I'll post it so someone in the future with a similar radio will know.

Mark,
I also have a Becker Mexico. I love the search function, you will too.
#2--No Connection is required here.
#3--No Connection is required here.
#6--This is a power antenna output, if your car is so equipped. This obviously isn't connected either if you have a standard mast antenna.
You probably know but the top speaker jack coming off the Becker Mexico Amp is the Right side lead.
#1,#4,#5,#7, are correct and can be connected as you had planned.
Good luck.

Thanks Tim and also Jeff (who emailed me directly) for your help!
For those that come later and find this topic on Becker Radios in a search of the forum topic you can also go to a site I just found:
http://www.beckerautosound.com/Classic/classics_wiring_info.htm
to find helpful information on your Becker Radios

Is number 3 an output plug?
I am thinking of attaching an amplifier (non Becker) and I don't want to use the speaker level signal (coming from the original amp).
I know #2 is the source input plug, but just curious about #3 what purpose it serves.
