I might be opening a can of worms here, but has anyone had experience with these lights. Since my headlight doors are missing the valley the European fog light adjusters slide into, I wanted to play around and see what is out there that is period and different.
I know purists would rather recommend the factory Bosch European lights. At this time it is not an option and I am looking to do something different till I can get the SL painted and body corrections made.
So here We go back or different give me your best shots.

Now I hear the Cibie Biode is a better light and that they are available for the W113 if you can find them. I have some sources looking, though the best lights are in a box waiting till my headlight doors are repaired. So maybe I am spinning my wheels on stuff I will never use.
I am still curious. I tried to Google Cibie Biode and found little results, more on Marchal Amplilux lights.

I have a set of amplilux with yellow lenses and also have a set of Cibie biodes. The biodes are decent at night ... the Marchals, not great but not terrible

Our 66 230 US spec car came with sealed beams and Hella bumper mounted fogs. Purchased Hella 7 inch halogen headlamps. Perfect fit and excellent light.
