Title: Rear Springs - Lower Cup Position?
Post by: bpossel on March 21, 2008, 13:04:33
I am in the process of putting my rear axle back together again and have a question....

Which way do the rear lower spring cups sit?  Does the adjustment marking "1 2 3" point towards the front of the car   ?
Same position for both left & right sides?

Thanks for your help!
Bob :)

Bob,
I will have to check, however I believe the 1,2,3 were to the rear,
99% sure

note: you should put these back in adjusted the way they came out.
mine were both at the 1 setting when i installed the new ones.

Matt, were you able to confirm the cup position?

Anyone else know the correct cup direction?

Thanks!

Hello Jeff!

Yes, thank you!  Your pic shows that the "1 2 3" needs to point towards the front of the car.
Thanks again!
