Title: Front sway bar (torsion bar) 22mm diameter

I need some assistance please. I am having great difficulty in locating a replacement front torsion bar. My car is am early 250sl with the same 22mm diameter bar as fitted to the 230sl. Is there anyone who can advise if any of the sedan (saloon) units are interchangeable? I have also posted a parts wanted ad. M<any thanks, Kaye

Kaye, think you might have to go to MB for correct bar.  I replaced one a few years ago.  Had to order from MB because of the W113.044 chassis.
