Kemal and List,
One of my close friends is a cousin to Britt 8)
Neither he or I knew she was involved with a Pagoda SL. Do you have any details? Perhaps this was during her time with Peter Sellers :?:
She lives here in the Stockholm area nowadays

As the Resident Doubter, how do we know she owned the car? A lot of people would have been very pleased to have Ms. Eklund borrow their car :o)

Peter Sellers was a bit of a car nut back then. It could very well have been one of his cars during their time together. Even if he bought it, the fact that she can be shown to have driven it could sort of make it "hers."

Anyone see the orginal movie The Italian Job with Peter Sellers? Was that a movie. I hate to think what in dollars today they swashed back when the orginal movie was made. That has to be on any car enthusiast list beside Bullite and Gonen in 60 seconds and yes I can not remember another one involving a Mercedes-Benz and a rather chrushed BMW with the bad guys. Now what was that movie.

The Italian Job (the original) was Michael Caine. Not a lot of people know that. Noel Coward played the role that, I think, Caine played in the remake.

I don't believe Caine was in the re-make of that film. About the closest character to him was Donald Sutherland. The story was pretty extensively re-worked in the updated version.
There was one scene in the re-make where they sneak in a cameo of the old film. It's when you see Edward Norton watching his humungous television in his giant house bought from the loot. He's watching the original flick and you see a glimpse of a youthful Caine.
