Title: dash bulbs and leds
Post by: nick350 on December 30, 2007, 14:59:17
does anyone know what the dash light wattages are and if they are push in or what, and does anyone know the LED codes?

Do 'we' think that they might be a bit bright especially as I don't have the rheostat connected?

thanks guys and happy new year to all.

The dash instrument bulbs I used a couple of years ago were 2 watt bulbs with bayonet base.

The bulb package says "Made in France" and has number "072 601 012800". Not sure what the number means or if it will help ID the bulb.

Bulbs for the speedo, tacho, are type BA 9.
Originals were 2 watt. Can use 4 Watt if you want to brighten things up!!
Bulbs for the 280 heater levers are type BA 7. 2 watt again.

Can be ordered from DaimlerChrysler for little money.
N072601 012800 is the MB part number.
