I just received a holiday note and notebook from Paul Bracq, and in it is a recent article about him (I think; he seems to be featured in it, with photos etc.)
Problem is, it's in DUTCH, from what appears to be a Netherlands auto magazine.
Have our members from the Netherlands seen this article and does anyone care to translate it?

Hi Michael - no, not seen this article yet; if you can scan it I will be happy to translate it for you.

OK, Cees--will do. Part of the text of the first page is overprint on a photo so not sure how well it will scan, but you know me I'll do my best. Will come to you off-line.
It is in a magazine called autovisie, dated 11 October 07, with a picture of the 180PK Grande Punto Abarth on the cover.
Article title is "Maitre Carrossier"

Why is it that most Europeans speak three languages or more and Yanks only English?

Well, maybe you should ask why DUTCH people usually speak three languages!
Imho, dutchmen know they're living in a small country, and only a few people worldwide speak dutch...I wish more frenchmen would consider that too! ;)

You're right on target Philippe - we have depended on trade with surrounding countries for centuries so need to be able to communicate. I speak English, Dutch, and manage ok in German and French.
Salut!

Cees was good enough to do the translation. I just received it today.
For those that might be interested, I will be correcting some vernacular/usage to make it "read right" based upon the translation, not the original text, and putting it together with the photos and making it available as a pdf.
Those interested contact me offline with your email address. The usual gang will get it automatically.
