Not sure why the bidding is so high on these? You can get them cheaper from Adsitco.

895.00 per pair http://www.adsitco.com/category.asp?CID=1492&VID=
BTW the fine lines the seller mentions are the stress markings from fatigued Bosch dies. My Adsitco set also has them and since I bought them about a year or so ago I paid under $700 without the trim reings!

Maybe it's the Ebay "virus". I wonder how high the reserve is. I sold a speaker on Ebay for $170.00 when you can get then right from Becker for around $65 or $70. People dislike being overbid or they really do not know the value of what they are bidding on.

One of the most insane auctions I witnessed was for a German license plate that went for over $300.00 USD. I paid something like $45 for mine.

I purchased my new European lights for Becker imports $600.00 for the pair and 190.00 for the chrome bezels.
Incase you haven't noticed Bosch LE-1657 early 230SL ,250SL and early 280SL USA headlamp assemblies are NLA and big tarkets because they are so easy to remove and it was the last year for the built in fog lamp.

At $1325 the reserve price hasn't even been met! The seller is looking for more.

Even though I sometimes feel I got a "deal" for something on ebay I constantly remind myself that I paid more than 25 million other people would have paid.
