Title: steering wheel ?

Hi guys, A little bit of knowledge is required here .Does anyone know if the steering wheel on a 114 series mercedes is a direct fit onto a Pagoda ? Thanks for your help .Colin @ Edinburgh

MB shows the same part number steering wheel for the 250SL and 280SL as well as the W111-021,023,024,025,026,027 and the W114-023,073

Yes, if the pagoda was made as a 1968 model or later.

The pagodas made before 68 (230sl's and half of the 250sl's) have a different steering column.

Hello Colin,

The early plastic W114, W115 and W108 steering wheels and padded hubs are the same as the later W113 steering wheels. Around 1973 all these cars changed to the latter padded steering wheels same as in the W107 450SLs etc.

I have a nice used black wheel with hub and horn ring. The pad is new.
