Hi all,

Does any one have a detailed list of the parts in the toolkit for the 280SL?

I don't have a list but here are some scans from the original parts catalogs (230sl and 250sl) showing the tool kits and accessories.  I did not have a picture for the 280sl but I suspect they are similar to the 250sl.  Interestingly, they don't show any open wrenches as part of the kit.

Perhaps you could call the Classic Center in Irvine or drop in on your local MB dealer, they should be able to access the parts catalog and give a detailed listing with part numbers.

The parts catalog diagrams are not complete. Use the search function and search in "General Discussion" using "toolkit" as the search string - start the search only with subject line. I think you will get a couple of hits, there are some pictures of the full tool kit. Joe A also posted a picture of the auxiliary tool kit.
