I stripped and cleaned out my pump from 20 years of standing. It works fine but pushes out fuel fuel from the overflow. I started my car with the overflow leaking into a gallon.
Were can I get repair parts? It is a 230SL with the long type of pump.
Brushes
Bellows
O rings
clip that holds the belows
Seal that the bellows sits against
Thanks everyone. This is a great forum.

Or actually, currently here: http://www.sl113.org/wiki/pmwiki.php?n=Fuel.FuelPumpRebuild. Do note that as we are restructuring the Technical Manual all the time, it probably is best to just go to the main page and search for the words...

Where do I buy the rebuid kit for the pump?
-
Ricardo,
George Des did all the legwork and sent me a repair kit. It included new bearings, brushes, screws and o rings. The only part not included was the bellows seal. Took me an hour and all was good. The bellows is no longer available. You could get all the parts individually but for the cost George charges, it is well worth it. Look him up on the forum and send him an e-mail.
Note, I have the older style pump (230sl 66).
