Title: sr59X starter 12v ballast by pass connection ?

so,
searched the threads and have read about the sr59x starter ballast bypass feature.
there is one bit of info missing.  where should the by pass line connect?

1. output side of the ballast
or
2. directly to the coil?

It realy shouldn't matter. I connected the lead to the +side of the coil only because it looked less cluttered connected there.
