Title: Data card explanation?
Post by: TA250SL on September 08, 2003, 00:24:39
I would appreciate any help with the following from the data card for my 1967 Euro 250sl.

Option 62-1,
line 12: Bertrung DB (?), with a 5 digit number,
line 13: can't read, but says Bosch,
wenig gewonscht- 723, which I learned was a luggage compartment cover.  Does anyone know what it looks like?  Was it for the trunk or the space behind the seats?
Lastly, where does it indicate the soft top color?

Thanks for your help,

Tom

Take a look at the following link, which explains some of the codes to see if this can help with your inquiry.

Don't forget about our own database of option codes:

http://www.sl113.org/data/

621 is Export License Plate (Elimination of License Plate Moulding)
723 is Navy Blue soft top

It would be nice to publish a list of what the different box titles translate to in English.
