Good morning
Has anyone had their UK car re-trimmed (in leather)?
I am looking at how much I would expect to pay for a good re-trim of dash, seats, doorcards.
Thank you

Ask nixcolley here (aka Nicola). She just had that done in London.

I am being quoted £5000 for a full leather interior inc new carpets, dash etc by Kevin O'Keefe.
I know that this is top quality (and may well be what I would go for) but can anyone tell me the lower range I might pay for this work - being done to a decent standard?
Cheers!

ive had 2 pagodas done in the last few years around london and im on a mission about this. will post something about possibly the only place to get leather made with oil based chemicals which smell of leather. this is being made specifically for vintage rolls jags etc by one of the connolly family. no matter how much you pay, with modern leather you will be disappointed because it looks wrong and doesnt smell

ejm,
There are leather smell sprays you can use. These can be pretty effective.
Danesgate, Mike at Silchester Garage is an expert. Try contacting him for a quote.

Agree Kevin O'Keefe is the top guy but slightly expensive but Silchester did a great job on matching and patching my leather seats.

Hi,
Hope this helps,
I've just had a new hood fitted by Tony Baldassare of Bedford who I've used for years and who is fantastic. He has done many hoods and retrims on Pagodas and has one in his shop at the moment for a full leather retrim. I asked him the current rate and it seems to be in the £2.5 to £3K range subject to choice of materials.
I can heartily recommend him and his phone number is 01234 359277.
