Title: lower right hand trim??

Is there a source for dash trim. SLS has the chunk i need grayed out, and i believe i have read here that it's hard to find.

I am looking for the lower right hand Black trim piece that mounts on the corner and under the glove box.

Any ideas where i can look?

Hey P. Exactly which piece are we talking about? I just looked and am not sure I see a black trim piece on my car.

I take it, that it is the piece under the part SLS has numbered as "6". You may want to send them an e-mail and see if they have a source or option. Do you have the piece and need it recovered, or need the whole piece?

Perhaps, MB Classic, Millers, Neimoeller (aka the usual suspects) may have the piece. I just looked at Neimoller, and they show the part as available, go to Gruppe 68 on their web site and see if that is what you are looking for - www.neimoeller.de. I was not able to get to the English translation, but it might be there, or at least a contact number.

This would be the black padded trim at knee level on the right corner running under the glove box.

In the SLS diagram of 68a it's located under the piece numbered 6 which i presume mounts on the glove box.

very close. the one i want is for a 280. also mine has an additional bit that runs under the glove box. perhaps close to a foot more length.
