Title: Antenna install

I would like to install a hirschman on the right fender of my 280SL.  Would someone be kind enough to post a picture of their antenna, focusing on the base  so I could estimate too the proper coordinates on where to drill the hole.  All tips/special instructions are welcome. I also noticed from pictures that the whip has a backward slant.  Is this originally the case?  Thanks everyone!
