Title: License plate bracket for US plate
Post by: dldubois on August 31, 2003, 21:29:16
Anyone know a vendor that would have a license plate bracket for the front of my 280sl for a US plate?  I've been unable to find.

Hello Richard,

Do you think the bracket would also work for the rear? How expensive was it. Does it look profesional or home made?

The front plate adapter from Ray Paul is well made, chrome plated with small black rubber bumpers shaped to fit the angle of the bumper...looks very professional...
I think the rear bumper has slots that fit US plates. I did not need an adapter in the rear and have never seen one there...

Thanks Richard.

I'll contact Ray Paul and order.

I have a nice set of 1970 TX plates that I wanted to put on the car.  This states allows plates dated the year the car was manufactured to be put on the car.
