Hi All!
Back on-line again. Spent 2 wonderful weeks in Hawaii. Spent one of the 2 weeks in Kauai and visted one of our members, Jim Saylor. Hi Jim! What a beautiful island you live on! Thanks for everything!
:?: Question... I am in the process of replacing my starter with the newer, smaller Bosch model. The old larger one required a bracket to hold up the rear. It looks like the newer one does not use the bracket and only uses the 2 large bolts. Is this correct or am I missing something  ?
Thanks!

Hi Bob,
you should not need another bracket, but you'll need one new bolt with nut since the lower hole on the new shorter starter is not threaded.

Bob, Did you take the 280 on a/the vacation? Does it get to go to Blacklick again?

Hello Alfred, thanks for the info! I did read the posts about the bolt. Funny, on my starter (older style, larger one...) it was using a standard bolt, washer and nut. The lower hole was not threaded on mine? Strange...?
Hello Glenn! Since I was out of town, my Pagoda had a vacation from me "messing" with it... It was probably happier to get a break from all of the "fix'n" that I's always do'n...
I will take it to Blacklick this year. Cant wait to see ya'll again!
Kind Regards, Bob
