Hey guys
I am about to replace my soft top and have heard that the tops from SLS are leaking at the seams. Who, in your opinions supplies the best one? Money is not really an issue.
All posts gratefully received.

If money is not an issue, why not buy OEM? The part is still available from the dealer, albeit in a limited array of colors.

There is a product available called Seam-Sealer, made by Kenton Consumer Products, Peace Dale RI 02883. I'm using it to seal seams in Sunbrella and Herculite. It comes in a 2 oz bottle with the applicator built-in. You must apply it on the underside by inverting the bottle, so the top has to be on a table. (remember this gravity thingy)It may be available locally at a place that does canvas work for boats. (for clarification purposes: The term "boats" applies only to sailboats)

Are there any other kind of real boats besides sail boats? Preferably wooden w/o engine. ;)

Doug, what is the difference when you compare the OEM to a GAHH top besides the plastic window?

...and what is the difference in the plastic window?

The difference in the plastic window would be the logo on the bottom left corner.

Also, the factory top has a metal bar stitched into the canvas above and below the rear window for added stiffening.
I believe the OEM top is roughly twice the cost of the GAHH top.

Since we're on the subject does anyone know if the thickness of the plastic window is the same? The one on my new top seems to be thiner?
