Not Enough!  ;)

Welcome, Veronique. It is true there are only a handful of ladies gracing our pages thus far. However, one of our finest and most-amiable members resides (at least part of the time) in your own Alsace region.

Tell me J Huber. Are you a women? How many are there? I can not geuss how many but try to read the coments and work out who is a women by there tongue. I have met a famous foto grapher in Paris from London Paul Raeside who is living there and is in a Bleu 280. So beautiful. He made me jion the Pagode forum. Do you knew him yet. I would like to meet you more at a club or party but I am here.

Well, I for one am not a woman -- and it would be hard to say how many exactly there are here. Among the active posters -- a handful would be generous. Many here sign their posts which usually gives away the gender to the English speaking crowd. There are a few, like poor Kemal, who seems to have encountered a gender identity crisis here!

I would say that for many of us the fact is -- "behind every Pagoda-owning man, is a good woman!"

How long have you owned your Pagoda? I hope the car has a garage to sleep in! Welcome to the Group and, yes, Paul is a familiar name around here. Pagoda owners have all kinds of different professions, among them photographers, architects, copywriters and other creative people.

Bonjour Veronique!
I hope you will excuse this french digression in an english-speaking forum! Sorry, coudn't help!

Hi Veronique
Welcome aboard from abroad ...
Why does everyone think I am a woman ?, when I am clearly a man .

Maybe Cees & James can recommend a solution ? [ A picture of my Family parhaps ? ]

Perhaps you should change your forum name to "Mr. Kemal Shah." Or you could assume a suitable forum name synonymous with a masculine persona like......  "Austin Powers."  :-)

I suppose there are some names that are the same, or at least very similar, for both sexes. For example, in the US 'Pat' can be a he or a she. Adding 'Mr' as Doug suggests would do the trick.
On the topic of 'he' vs 'she' recreational activities, I found out today that one of my other hobbies, pistol shooting, is also practiced mostly (>90%) by men. So what hobbies do women typically undertake??

I am a woman, and so is my wife ;)

FWIW, I have always thought of Kemal as a man. The poster known as France, on the other hand...

Veronique, have a look at the Frappr link from the main homepage - there's some pictures there of some of the members.

Technically of course, my car is owned by the wife but she's far too busy to mess around on the internet!

Tosh,

Excuse my ignorance but, what is a Frappr link? I went to the home page and could not find anything such as that.

Hey Rolf. Frappr is a nifty website that allows you to place yourself on a map anywhere in the world -- the idea being that people who have a common interest (ie us and our cars) join the site and can use a satellite map to see and/or communicate with others... or somethin' like that...

On the main SL Group page it is hyperlinked as "see where in the world other members are"... check it out...

A lady from PA, USA named Amy just joined recently.  Also, Trice (username = "France") is an active female member.

To find members in France, click the Members button in the top right corner then sort by the Country column.  Page down until you find the members from France.  You can e-mail them by clicking on their username.

There is also a Frapper map, it is mentioned in a couple recent posts.

Welcome to the Group!

For Veronique, I am a wonam as well as you and for Shah I think as well for you are a woman because of your speech? You are talked like a woman. I am sorry for that Shah. I know you are not but think that you are still? Excuse that I misunderstand.
