Title: ID plate

I just bought a 230 SL and the chassis number is 113042-10-014476 and the engine number is 127981-10-011719 and the ID plate is missing, where can I get a new one and what year is the car?

According to the VIN, your Pagoda was manufactured in December of 1965, so I'm guessing it's a 1966 model.

Are you talking about the plate for the rear deck or the vin number plate? Bud's Benz has the 230 SL rear deck plate for $43.00. The vin plate is no longer being made by Mercedes. I was told that a while ago when I called them about it.
