My name is Darryl and I'm a Mercedesholic. Just purchased a 1967 250sl and joined this group. Hope to learn alot.

That car looks nearly identical to mine, except I have installed an ivory steering wheel because I think it looks more "in period" than a black one and I have never had my front California black plate.

Are you in California, or just have a black plate car?

I am a Californian, one side of the family was here before the gold rush. The car came from Temecula and I live in Sacramento. Ivory would be nice on hot days, but black is nice if your hands get dirty.

Belated welcome to the group.  We have four Pagodas running around here in Nevada City/Grass Valley. Hope you can find some time visit our part of the gold country.... once the rain stops of course.
