This month CLassic Cars has an article on choosing an SL. the article is short and sweet. Starting from the 230SL, R107, R129 and SLK.

Also there is mention in the Mercedes-collector about transmission problems with one of the editors 280SLs. He reports he ordered a rebuilt transmission form aditsit and ened up having them rebuild his orginal transmission . Our web page is mentioned. prehaps this is someone we all know.
