I don't know how many of you were Boyscouts, but our pack just held their annual Pinewood Derby race. They are now timed (.0000 seconds) and the 48 cars run in 12 heat races (twice in each of 6 lanes)to determine the six fastest cars who then race six times (once in each lane) against each other. All standings are on a big screen and on satelite screens throughout the gym.
18 races - 18 wins - there are now two pampered cars in the family!
We really wanted to craft a pagoda, but the aerodynamics weren't right.

Congratulations on the win. I remember the Pine Box Derby back in the 60's. Are the two cars going to be kept side by side?
