Should all 113s have internal dust covers in the distributer mine was manufactured in 65,or is mine missing

Hi, Mike,
I believe all early Bosch distributors had this cover. It is shown in the Pagoda parts books but the Beetle and Fords had them too.
NLA, I think, unless you can find a used one...

I've always been under the impression only the 280 SLs had the dust cover over the distributor.... Can anyone else confirm?

aka suppressor housing? Probably fitted to all cars with factory radio...

I remember Bosch distributors from the 50's and 60's as having a metal dust cap under the rotor and from about 70 on as having a plastic one. I just assumed that most of them had been discarded by the time I worked on them. I currently have one of the plastic ones in my distributor.
