Title: Mechanic in Northwest Ohio/Southeast Michigan area
Post by: n/a on August 22, 2003, 21:52:00
Can anyone recommend a good mechanic who has experience in Clasic W113s in the Northwest Ohio/Southeast Michigan area?  This would include; Toledo, Monroe, Ann Arbor, Dearborn, Detroit, etc.

Ah,
what do you need to have done?  Regular things or restoration?

At the moment I'm mostly interested in "regular" things.
However, if you know of a good restorer I would gladly accept that information as well just in case.

Well......
I've restored quite a few cars and have been considering moving away from that type of work due to the amount of time reqired for each car. However, I might be interested if it was the right kind of car.
In other words , no rough cars. I just don't have the time for big projects right now. Maybe if I get some full time help I'd be more inclined to take on extra.

Thanks Dan.  Don't think I'm in need of restoration at the moment. I will keep it in mind though.  Nice to know you are reasonably close in a neighboring country. :D

Still would like to find a mechanic that is familiar with these classic cars.  Any ideas out there? :?:

Hi,
actually I can do both. I'm probably happier doing mechanical work as that's what I began doing a long time ago. There's almost nothing I haven't fixed on a 113.
