Post by: bpossel on January 28, 2007, 18:16:48
:?: Does anyone know who sells the plastic nuts that are used to hold down the wood dash trim?

I don't but I recall just hearing from Jim S. in Hawaii that they can be fabricated pretty easily... you may have to go visit him to see what he means!  8)

Hello Bob,

I heard they were no longer available in the original configuration.  How many do you need?

Hi Joe!

Looking for 4.  Only 1 of mine survived!  They seem to work well for the trim.  Very hard to install a small 5mm nut in that tight area!

If you have some spares, please let me know and I'll drop you a check.

Thanks!

A 000 990 0550 seems to be a good # for it. Listed at Euro 5.83 each [:(!]

Bob,
If you speak of the blue colored plastic nuts, then check the mail in a few days.
