Could someone tell me the sequence of insulators and connections on my ditributor {66 230} I made a sketch but lost it. Mike Rutledge

The sequence of firing is on the valve cover - if that is of any help.

And to start things off, the notch in the shoulder of the distributor (a tiny detent in the rim) will mark TDC of #1 cylinder when the rotor aligns with it, provided you have the rotor in the correct orientation.

I've read that the distributor itself can be in backwards (180 off). If you removed the whole thing, make sure it's in correctly.
