Title: Engine Cradle Mount replacement
Post by: n/a on November 27, 2006, 11:18:16
Hello all.

In the process of some transmission work, the garage is syaing that the cradle mounts are shot - so much so that when the car is lifted, the enginde "drops" about 4 inches. They are a solid shop but I need to weigh if I want them in particular to get involved in such a repair.

What am I looking at relative:

- to cost
- complexity of repair
- description of parts involved

And where can I point them for explanation on how to repair on the site? (they like when I bring them donwloaded explanations from SL113)

thanks, Chris

I think they are referring to subframe mounts.  Here is a good thread on the subject which has the information you need.
