I'm not an expert, but compared to my car, a couple of strange (for a late 280sl)features jump out. The data plate is on the firewall, No headrests, altho they could have been removed, The owners manual shown in the picture is for the later V8 model (107?). Door panels are from 230/250sl.

Gus,

It's a Euro/German model, so the door panels, data plate location, and headrests are all correct. Could be a nice one.
