Title: Sun Visor Clips
Post by: bpossel on October 03, 2006, 17:46:29
Hello All!

I just replaced my sun visor clips with new ones. My others broke and I thought that replacing them would be the solution, as long as I took good care of them (like all other items on my car).

Well, I have to say that the new clips are just as "weak" as the old ones.  These clips are clearly one of those items on the 113's that are not up the MB standards that this great car deserves!

Has anyone out there thought the same?  Has anyone looked into coming up with a replacement unit?  Chrome would be a better option!

Comments, thoughts?

Thanks!
Bob

Bob, I just finally took the sun visors off and bought sunglasses.

Hope all is well in Memphis!

I agree, I have gone through three sets of them already.  Once they cracked just screwing them in!

Now I try not to touch them

I think I would like to have your problem...

The only clips I could find to replace my original (cracked) ones were very cheap looking plastic clips that don't even do a good job of color-matching.  But they are so soft that I doubt they will ever crack.  Have you guys found somthing that looks more original, albeit just as fragile?

Best,

g

Got them from Millers.  Light grey in color (dont match the interior).  Looked like the ones that were on my car, and also look like many I have seen in pictures.
