Title: Naj--The Pleasure of his company!

This weekend I had the distinct pleasure of meeting our well-known friend, Naj [Jesani] and his brother, "Dr. J.".  Naj is from England of course, and his brother lives in the Windy City.

Naj and his brother are driving The Mother Road--Rt. 66--in the MBCA's 50th Anniversary event.  They left today from Chicago, and in 2 weeks will end up at Santa Monica and then the Classic Center in Irvine.

What a great guy, if you ever have the chance to meet him, don't miss it.

Wish Naj and Dr. J. the best on their journey!

Whilst I havent had the pleasure to meet Naj in person he has helped many of us here on the forum but in addition to that he has helped me out many times off-line by sending me parts/books/reference numbers etc.

I plan to take a trip to the UK next year for one of their larger events and hopefully I will meet up then, in the meantime I'm already looking forward to hearing and seeing details of his trip !!

I am very lucky in having Naj live not more than 2 miles from me, and I am doubly lucky in being the owner of his old 230SL

Yesterday, Chicago to Springfield Ill.
Today, to St. Louis, Mo. Preparing for dinner at Kemp Museum and viewing of personal collection of cars.

My lady and I have had the great privilege of meeting Naj and his charming wife Mina on two occasions at their home in London.  In addition to being tremendously knowledgable Pagoda owner he is a consumate gentleman and fun guy.  

What makes this forum great is the generosity of all of our members.  That includes the time they are willing to spend with visiting Pagoda owners. I found that in Amsterdam as well when we met Cees.  I hope we all have the opportunity to share that kind of experience.  If any of you visit Jacksonville, Florida, drop me a line.  I'll be happy to show off our town and my car.

Hey Naj,

Your're soon going to be crowned Miss W113.

I agree with the comments here and remember with pleasure your visit to Geneva and the drive in my White Pagoda when you gave me such useful tips.
