Title: seal kit for sl auto transmission

so I ordered a tranny pan seal and filter so I can change the tranny fluid on my 66 sl.  K&K ended up sending me the whole tranny seal kit.  

here is the question, should I return the kit in exchange for the pan seal or can I changge more than the pan seal on the tranny

the tranny is in the car.  I may keep the set for when I have the tranny rebuilt.

Hello Matt,

You have a lot more than you can use with this seal kit. I imagine the entire seal kit was expensive also. You may never need it, but it will probably increase in value in the future.
