Title: Need a Los Angeles 113 mechanic

Hi There,
I need a knowledgeable 113 mechanic on the West Side of Los Angeles. Santa Monica are if possible. I know two really great shops, but they are either too busy or too far. Thanks,

I am reviving this thread.  Is there anyone who knows a good 113 mechanic in the LA area (westside preferably but I am willing to go further).

I really do not want to take my car to any old shop and would appreciate any recommendations.

No takers so far... Taled to Bob Geco and he may have someone... I am definitely willing to drive further...  Would appreciate any names...

Check with Heritage Classics on Santa Monica and ask them if they have a mechanic or who they use. There were two Pagodas there last time I visited.

Another place to check is with the local chapter(s?) of the Mercedes Club. You can find the directory on line (at www.mbca.org then go to club references for a list of sites/contacts) or from a current copy of the Star magazine. This network of people can be quite helpful.
