Title: Anyone know the injection pump innards?

Hi,
 Just wondering what type of seal keeps the fuel from diluting the engine oil in the injection pump?
 I am toying with increasing the fuel pressure thru the pump and was wondering if this will dilute the oil faster than if the pressure is at it's normal setting.

Which fuel pressure? The pressure from the electric pump or something else? The 8 or 10 PSI charge pressure is all you need and the injection pump will max out at about 300 PSI. The injectors will open long before that amount near 225 to 250 PSI.
 The internal pressure is held in by special seals and the whole pump has to be torn down to get them out. This mean a complete rebuild, re seal and calibration. Most people will break things inside of the pump simply because they won't know that threaded pins hold the injection elements in place. If the pins aren't removed first they will be snapped off.
 Changing things around the injection pump can be risky. Even a small amount off and they won't work right.
