Post by: Mike Webster on July 17, 2006, 07:08:49
Scholars,

I have a 230SL built in December 1965. People always ask me what year is it? I tell them it was built in December 1965 because I don't know what year should correctly be referred. Anyone know?

Hey Daryl. If your VIN is 113042-XX-000508 -- you got yourself a 63!

Just reply to their question by stating what is writen
on the title. Why bother about which date manufactured
and which date sold.
