Title: Good TIP When Using This Site

When you enter the Forums section of this site, let your FIRST click be "Active Topics", found in the upper right hand part of the page, just above your log in name.

I surfed this site for months before someone pointed that out and now use it every time I enter. It's just been a long time since I saw anyone mention this and thought it may help a few folks enjoy the site with a little more ease.

I think you first need to log in so the forum knows who you are and when you last logged in.  That way, it can show you what's new since you last visited.  Great tip, anyway!  Everyone should use it.

Another tip:  If you don't have time to visit the site often, then when you start a new thread you should subscribe to it.  That way you will get an e-mail when someone replies to the thread.  You can subscribe to any thread (and I think a whole forum?) if you want.  Then use the "My Subscriptions" to manage what you are subscribed to.
