Title: Distributor cam lube
Post by: dseretakis on June 20, 2006, 16:25:29
I'm looking for distributor cam lube. None of the major autoparts stores (autozone or advance) have even heard of it.  I know Bosch makes it.  I will try the local MB dealership next.  Does anyone know where I can get this stuff or if it can be substituted with something else?
Thanks,
Dimitri

Try a more traditional "mom and pop" auto parts store.  I have a small tube marketed by one of the aftermarket points suppliers - it has lasted for years.

I have bought Bosch Distributor Grease at Pelican Parts (Porsche parts).  The part number is Q1060001.  A tube was $7.75.  Their number is 1.888.280.7799.  Hope this helps.
